Clear terms, before you buy.

This is an original working draft for 3Tins. Highlighted items must be confirmed by the business owner before publication.

Draft only — confirm the legal business name, registered address, GSTIN, support contacts, dispatch timelines, cancellation window, return period and governing jurisdiction.

Orders and pricing

Product listings should show whether prices include or exclude GST, stock status and the expected dispatch time. An order becomes accepted only after 3Tins confirms availability and payment. If an item is unavailable or incorrectly priced, the customer may choose an alternative or receive a refund to the original payment method.

Business quotations should state validity, tax, freight, installation and training separately where applicable.

Shipping and delivery

3Tins ships to serviceable Indian PIN codes using suitable courier or freight partners. The checkout or quotation should show shipping charges and the estimated dispatch window before payment. Delivery dates are estimates and may change due to carrier delays, remote locations, weather or events outside reasonable control.

Customers should inspect the outer packaging at delivery. Visible transit damage should be photographed before opening and reported promptly with the order number, packaging images and product images.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellation eligibility depends on whether the order has entered procurement, configuration, printing or dispatch. Standard unopened goods may be returnable within the confirmed return window if they are unused, complete and in original packaging. Opened consumables, resins, filament, electrical parts, clearance items and products damaged through misuse may be excluded where permitted by law.

Wrong, missing or transit-damaged items should be reported within the confirmed reporting window. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method after inspection. Any deduction or return-shipping charge must be disclosed before the return is approved.

Product warranty and support

Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and product. Each product page should state the applicable warranty period, who provides service and any onsite, carry-in or part-only limits. Warranty does not normally cover consumables, ordinary wear, misuse, unauthorised modification, unsuitable power, improper material or failure to follow maintenance instructions.

3Tins should help customers document valid claims and route them to the responsible manufacturer or service provider. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable consumer law.

Custom printing and manufactured parts

Quotes are based on the supplied model, dimensions, material, colour, finish, quantity and intended use. Production begins after the customer approves the quotation and final file. Minor layer lines, support marks and colour variation are normal characteristics of additive manufacturing unless a different tolerance or finish is agreed in writing.

The customer confirms that they have the right to manufacture the submitted design and that it does not infringe another party’s rights. 3Tins may decline unsafe, prohibited or unsuitable work. Dimensional tolerances, load requirements and regulated end uses must be agreed before production.

Privacy

3Tins should collect only the information needed to answer enquiries, process orders, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. This may include contact details, billing and delivery information, order records, communications and files submitted for quotation.

Payment card details should be handled by the selected payment provider rather than stored by 3Tins. Customer information should be shared only with service providers needed to fulfil the request, such as payment, courier, hosting and support providers, or when legally required. The final policy must name the data controller contact and retention periods.

Website terms

Website content is provided for general product information. Specifications, compatibility, colour and availability can change, so customers should confirm critical requirements before ordering. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement beyond an authorised reseller relationship where one actually exists.

The final terms should identify the contracting legal entity, limits that are lawful and reasonable, dispute process and governing courts. These terms must be reviewed for the products, sales channels and jurisdictions in which 3Tins operates.
